George is a 9-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.

George loves the outdoors and always looks forward to a day he can go fishing. He can be very friendly and loving and is always full of energy. He enjoys helping others and he is extremely compassionate and gentle with animals. George's favorite foods are pizza and lasagna. His favorite television show is Boomeranger and he likes to play Pokemon. In school George likes PE, Art, and Computers. He receive special services in the school setting as he needs extra help with academics. At times he also needs assistance controlling his emotions. He can become easily frustrated and can be unfriendly towards others and is also working on appropriate boundaries with his peers. George has two sisters. They continue to visit with each other and he enjoys the time that he gets to spend with them. The siblings will not be part of the adoption. George needs a small, fun loving family who can offer a lot of love and patience. This home will need to provide consistency, structure, as well as have a routine in place. George will thrive with a strong male role model. His family will also need to support his continued involvement in any services he needs and be able to continue contact with his two sisters, who are not a part of this adoption.
