Ian

Ian is a 17-year-old boy from California who is hoping to be adopted.
Happy as can be!! Ian can’t see you but he will know that you are there to help him grow. This dynamic and engaging young man has personality. One of his greatest passions is listening to MUSIC. He enjoys the melodies and makes rhythmic movements by following the different beats, which to him is a natural thing to do. Ian enjoys the company of people and is very social. He submerges himself in interactions through smiles and positive body language. Ian uses sign language to communicate some of his needs. He attends school and is making steady progress. Ian was born in April of 1995 and is of African-American descent. He is diagnosed with Severe Mental Retardation, Cerebral Palsy, Severe Developmental Delays and mild to moderate hearing loss. He is blind in both eyes. All Regional Center services are in place and he is benefitting from them. He eats pureed foods and has a liquid diet. Ian is a great kid and he needs you! You have to meet him to be able to appreciate his great sense of humor. If you would like to be considered for Ian, please contact Los Angeles County Department of Children & Family Services.
