Ivaughnte displays a very happy demeanor most of the time. He has a beautiful smile. Over time he will bond and learn to love his caregivers who adopt him. Ivaughnte is very good at receiving and giving love and affection to others. He will even hug strangers and smile at them. Ivaughnte was born with a genetic disorder known as Angleman's Syndrome. His speech is limited to less than ten words with no sentence structure or connection, although he does respond to his name. Ivaughnte experiences seizures which are being treated with medication. He is a very loving and happy boy who needs a good and loving home. He currently receives physical, occupational and speech therapy. Ivaughnte is learning how to appropriately use eating utensils as well as other tools. He is doing well with this and is expected to be able to use his hands and tools efficiently.

Ivaughnte needs a forever family who has the time, patience and love to spend with him. He will need someone who can provide for all activities of daily living and provide constant supervision. Parents for Ivaughnte will need to ensure his ongoing involvement in supportive programs.
