Photolisting Profile for Ja

Ja is a 12-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.

Ja (pronounced Jay) is a sweet boy who is well like by others. He is very giving and always tries hard to do his best. He loves watching wrestling and playing with wrestling toys. He also enjoys reading and riding his bike. Ja has a great appetite and likes a variety of foods, but his favorite is Mexican food. Ja does well in school. He receives assistance to help him deal with controlling feelings of sadness and anger. Ja has two siblings and he is the oldest of this sibling group. He is currently placed with one of his sisters so they see each other daily. Although they love each other dearly, there is sibling rivalry. They visit monthly with the sibling who is not currently living with them. The plan is for all three children to be adopted together.

This is a sibling group that will keep life interesting. Roberta, Tyrese and Ja are healthy active children. Roberta loves to color, watch Hannah Montana and play with her Brats dolls. Tyrese is interested in learning about animals and enjoys playing with Legos. Ja is the oldest and he is really in to wrestling right now. They all receive services to help them deal with issues of the past and to help develop good social skills. An active, loving and giving family with a strong male role model is being sought for this sibling group. An environment that provides structure and stability will be needed to keep them focused and moving forward as they continue to develop good social skills and work through feelings of sadness and anger. They will be placed together and ideally would do best as the only children in the home.
