Photolisting Profile for Jacob

Jacob is a 3-year-old boy from Virginia who is hoping to be adopted.
A little room in your home and a lot of room in your heart is required for Jacob, a toddler whose endearing face is irresistible. Although he has medical challenges, this little boy is making good progress, and he appears happy and content. Jacob’s sight is limited, and glasses have been prescribed to help him focus. He participates in physical therapy, and doctors are encouraged by his progress in his ability to walk and talk. Jacob’s balance has improved significantly resulting in his ability to sit up without assistance for a longer period of time. His standing balance has also improved while someone holds onto his hips, and he will occasionally take a step while standing. Jacob will need to be monitored until age three to ensure that his eating abilities continue to improve. Jacob is a special little boy who will bring lots of joy to the right family. His doctors are optimistic about the progress in his development, and say that Jacob’s complete health and developmental future will be known by the time he is six or seven years old. Jacob has faced many challenges and needs a nurturing family committed to helping him be all he can be. His family must give a lot of time to doctor and therapy appointments and know how and when to step forward as strong advocates for Jacob, ensuring that he receives all the services he is entitled to and must have. There will be financial support to ensure continuation of the medical intervention that he is now receiving. If there is a place in your home and heart for Jacob, he is ready for all the love and attention you can provide.Disclaimer
