Jacob is an energetic youngster who really wants and needs a family in his life- one that is committed to being there for him forever! He loves skate boarding, soccer and fishing. His most important strengths are his desire to do well and his eagerness to please the people who are important to him. Jacob does his best when having a lot of activities to occupy his days, and he needs encouragement and guidance to help him focus. Although he is active, Jacob can be easily redirected when necessary. In his past, Jacob was allowed to do as he pleased, but he has been able to adjust very well in his current structured, family-like environment. He is doing well with stability and consistency in his life. Jacob has an attachment to his grandmother, an aunt and an adult half-sister with whom he has contact and/or visits. Continued contact is recommended, but at the current time, it should be conducted under supervision and outside his former home community. Jacob will thrive as the only child in a two parent family environment where he has a lot of attention from nurturing and patient caregivers.
