Jacob is thoughtful, enthusiastic, cheerful, and friendly. He enjoys traveling, drawing, sports, and outdoor activities. Jacob is especially intrigued with science and nature and likes nothing better than to collect rocks or take his binoculars and go bird-watching. He hopes to become an ornithologist or an artist. Jacob attends special classes at school where he does very well academically when he receives positive feedback. He listens well and can follow directions. Jacob has tremendously improved in academics, as well as conduct, in the classroom and is his teacher’s favorite student. Individual attention allows him to be more successful and an individual aide helps him maintain a calm attitude. Jacob's therapy has helped him learn to interact appropriately with peers and respect boundaries. Jacob is very excited about the possibility of having a forever family. He needs an adoptive family that can spend a lot of time with him and give him lots of attention and love. Individual assistance in all areas of his life helps him be successful. Jacob hopes his adoptive family will like to travel and take him places. His adoptive family will need to provide a great deal of supervision, structure, and boundaries.
