Jacob is a 15-year-old boy from North Carolina who is hoping to be adopted.

Jacob is a kind-hearted, caring, courteous, and talkative boy who takes a great deal of pride in his appearance. He loves outside activities that include riding his bicycle, playing football, or fishing. He also likes to watch TV and play with his collectable cards. Jacob has recently become extremely interested in golf and is thrilled that someone let him borrow a set of clubs for left-handed people. He spends most of his free time putting and improving his golf skills. Jacob has set his career sights on being a police officer, fireman, or athlete. Jacob enjoys going to school and is well liked by his teachers. He puts forth a great deal of effort and his behaviors are positive. Jacob's foster parents say he has made good progress in taking responsibility for his actions. His school performance has improved greatly due to an emphasis on education and a daily routine, but academics are still quite a challenge. These things will need to be continued to ensure that Jacob forms and maintains good school habits. Jacob would love to have a family who is fun and enjoys outdoor activities as much as he does. A two-parent family where he would be the only child or have an older sibling would be ideal. Being an active boy, Jacob needs someone who can take the time to work with him and on his academics and homework.
