Hi, my name is James. I am 15 years old and I like to watch sports games. My favorite sports are basketball, soccer, and football. I like to play football at recess with my friends. I also enjoy spending time at camp. In the winter I like to ice fish and to snowmobile. In the summer I go swimming, fishing, and play outside. I also enjoy going to youth group every week. I love to have visits with my sisters; we do lots of fun things together. I have many favorite things: Some of them are: my favorite sports team is Boston Red Sox, my favorite color is blue, my favorite food is pepperoni pizza, my favorite holiday is Christmas and my favorite game is Monopoly. Some of my dislikes are going to school, getting in trouble and being bored. These are just a few things that I would like you to know about me. ’I'll tell you the rest after I move in. James is a very quite boy, but he will open up as he gets to know you. James struggles with school; reading is particularly hard for him. James loves doing activities with others he loves to feel included and part of the group. James will need a family who will include him in outdoor activities and going out to eat. James needs a family that will be able to show him the love and acceptance that he needs but who will also set limits and have him own up to those limits. James needs a family that will challenge him, one that will not except his “I don’t know” answers and push him forward. Adoption subsidy may be available for the most appropriate family.
