James

James is a 13-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.
James is an energetic boy who is lots of fun to be around. He has a great sense of humor and loves to laugh. An active child, James enjoys playing soccer, dodge ball, and video games. He likes the outdoors and especially likes to go fishing. His favorite food is chocolate and his favorite television character is Spiderman. In school, James receives assistance with academics as well as behavior. He has a strong desire to do well in school and has a great deal of admiration for his teacher. His favorite class is social studies. He struggles with math. James receives assistance to help him in learning to cope with intense feeling of sadness, anger and frustration. He is also working towards developing good social skills. James also has a tic disorder that is controlled with medication. James needs a strong, stable family who can provide a structured environment and support him as he works through his issues. He would like to have a family that is outgoing and understanding. He would also like to live in an urban setting. James does have two siblings who are already adults. James needs a family that will guide him and advocate for him as he enters adulthood.
