Jaquan is a 10-year-old boy from Virginia who is hoping to be adopted.
This beautiful smile belongs to Jaquan, a youngster who is ready for a permanent home. He is a happy kid who is always up for a fun game, a new adventure or just tagging along on errands. Jaquan is always willing to help out around the house. When asked what his favorite meal would be, he said chicken, pork chops and candy! School can sometimes be a challenge for Jaquan. His teacher says he doesn’t always stay focused, and he gets distracted at other activities going on around the classroom. This year, he is working with a tutor to ensure he understands all of his schoolwork. Like so many youngsters in foster care, Jaquan has had a tough past.
