Jaquis’ favorite subject and activity involves wrestling. He watches it on TV, he wrestles with his friends, he watches wrestling videos, and he collects wrestling figures. Jaquis wants to be a wrestler, but he wants to finish high school first. He has an inner drive to be successful and thrives on encouragement and positive feedback to help him along the way. Jaquis attends some resource classes at school where his grades are usually C’s. He is capable of doing better and needs help with motivation to do so. Jaquis has made good progress in his attitude and behavior and his goal is to be a productive and healthy individual with the coping skills to deal with life when it is not perfect. Jaquis wants and needs a positive male figure in his life and he will do best with a two-parent family. He needs an adoptive family who can provide him with consistency, stability, and structure, along with plenty of encouragement and love. Jaquis needs clearly established limits with appropriate consequences. He would also like to have contact with his siblings.
