He is very bonded to his foster parents and enjoys living with them. Jared enjoys talking with others and gets along well with kids at his school. He does well in school. Jared would love to do something to help the Army and hopes to one day travel the world and meet new people. Jared is diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, other acquired torsion dystonia, quadriplegia, neuralgia, neuritis, and a disorder of the bone and cartilage. Jared uses a wheelchair for his mobility. During the summer he went to a summer camp called Lions Camp and had a wonderful time. He enjoys swimming and horseback riding.
Jared is very excited about being adopted. He will do best in a family that is able to do accommodate his physical challenges. It will be very important for his adoptive family to have knowledge in Cerebral Palsy and to be an advocate for him in the medical community. He does best with clear and consistent boundaries and positive reinforcement. Jared would like a fun and active family who will take him on outings and allow him to participate in fun activities.
