Jason is a 13-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.
Jason is a quiet child, but is affectionate and loving towards his siblings. He tends to be serious in nature but is patient and has a good sense of humor. Jason enjoys video games and all types of sports. He is from Louisiana and likes the New Orleans Hornets. He loves video games and playing any sports. Jason, although quite social, does have a difficult time with other children. He has been aggressive in the past with both children and adults. He is, however very loving and protective of his siblings. Jason's caseworker states he is very sweet and does do well in school. He is very close to his siblings and is extremely protective of them. Jason's foster parents report he is a sweet, quiet child that does seem to struggle with his anger. He does seem receptive to learning, but needs a home that will be able to provide him more one on one attention.
Jason, Ivory and Harriniqua were displaced by Hurricane Katrina and subsequently came into state's care. Being separated from their birth parents and each other has been challenging; however, they remain resilient and hopeful that an adoptive family will make a lifelong commitment to them and give them a fresh start on life. The home that is open to accepting Jason and his siblings must be very patient and loving. These children need a family with big hearts and a willingness to provide a safe loving supportive forever home for Jason and his siblings. It is also believed that Jason as well as his siblings would benefit from a family with a strong male role model.
