Jeremy is a likable boy with an infectious smile. He has a terrific sense of humor and can be quite charming. Jeremy enjoys sports and recently has shown a strong interest in gymnastics. Like most teens he can often be found playing with a Gameboy or X-box. Jeremy struggles academically and it is being arranged for him to be evaluated to determine the cause. It is believed that he is capable of doing much better if he applies himself. While his behaviors can be challenging, Jeremy can often show his gentle, calm, and compliant side. He is able to process his actions following an incident and through counseling, is working on preventing the incident altogether. With the support of a loving, supportive, caring, and patient adoptive family, Jeremy will have the opportunity to thrive and become the calm, positive and easygoing adult that lies inside. He will also benefit from structure, consistency, stability, and clearly set rules with appropriate consequences. An adoptive family for Jeremy should understand his desire to have continued contact with his birth family whenever possible.
