Jeremy attends regular classes at school and is generally a good student. All of his end-of-grade test scores last year were above average. A personal aide spends time with Jeremy on a weekly basis to assist him in improving social skills and positive interactions with adults.

Jeremy needs an adoptive family willing to work with him on his past issues. They will need to have patience and work with him on maintaining a more positive attitude. Jeremy could possibly benefit from an older brother as a positive role model. A family that is active in the community could be a plus, as well. Jeremy needs consistency, clearly set expectations with appropriate consequences. He will need plenty of encouragement to do his best in the academic setting. It is important that he be able to have contact with his siblings.
