Jesse is a 11-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.

Jesse is a fun loving child that could keep anyone company for hours. He interacts well with others despite his lack of ability to communicate verbally. Jesse loves to listen to all types of music and toys that vibrate. They provide positive stimulation for him. He especially enjoys listening to Michael Jackson. He is a very pleasant child that smiles and laughs easily. Jesse responds very well to personal contact and affection from caregivers. Jesse was born premature and as a result has some special needs. Jesse has hydrocephalus and receives his nutrients through a "G" tube. He is doing well with this. Recently Jesse has made progress and has attempted to eat table foods that are fed to him by mouth instead of his tube. Jesse is partially blind but responds to light. He is currently receiving assistance to help him with his speech and his other developmental skills and is making progress. Jesse attends school and enjoys riding the school bus. Jesse would be a wonderful addition to an adoptive family able to accept his special needs and encourage him to develop to his full potential.

Jesse needs a family that is patient and willing to help him with his special needs. He will need total care for the rest of his life.
