She prefers to be around young adults she can have conversations with instead of her peers. Foster parents report that Jessica does well in their home because they use reasoning and give Jessica time to process her feelings and opinions before approval is granted or denied. Jessica interacts well with children in her foster home placements as well as with her caretakers. Jessica enjoys listening to country music, wearing makeup, and reading. Her favorite books to read are the popular Twilight series. Jessica has also expressed an interest in a helping profession like nursing or other careers in the medical field. Jessica likes to dance and has participated in dance class when offered in school. She is a good student and passed all her classes.
