Jessica is a happy, sweet, and lovable young woman, full of life and energy. She has a terrific personality and is a joy to be around. Jessica is easy to love and very appreciative of the little things in life. She gets along well with everyone and enjoys social interaction. Jessica enjoys shopping and doing “girlie” things such as putting on makeup and fixing her hair. She loves just “hanging out”- watching movies, or playing games, but she also likes to go fishing, camping, four-wheeling, skateboarding, and riding her bike. Jessica loves the warmth and affection of being with her foster family. Her foster parents say she is an open, honest girl who likes to help out around the house. She loves animals and hopes to become a veterinarian and study Zoology. Jessica attends regular classes at school where she maintains average grades. Math is her best subject area, but if she doesn’t understand a concept in any subject area, Jessica will readily ask for clarification. Counseling is helping her understand interpersonal relationships, build her self-reliance, and deal with her feelings from past experiences. Jessica has made much progress since moving into a structured and loving environment. She is an easy-going child who rarely complains and will benefit greatly from a family who understands her gracious gentleness. Jessica will also benefit from opportunities to join in extracurricular activities such as cheerleading or gymnastics. She needs an adoptive family who will provide her with consistency, stability, structure, and lots of love and attention. Jessica should understand what is expected of her and what she can expect of them.
