Jessica is a sweet, shy and easygoing child. She is very loving and affectionate. She loves to play, both independently and with other children. Her favorite things to do are Lincoln Logs, Play Station, coloring and dolls. Jessica likes outdoor activities such as bike riding and jumping rope. Foods that you may see Jessica enjoy are chocolate milk, sweets and especially chicken nuggets. Jessica is a reserved young lady and can be overwhelmed in large groups. She can be timid with peers and is hesitant to make friends. Jessica often needs to be motivated in order to get things accomplished. When nervous, Jessica has a habit of picking at things; however, she is easily redirected. Jessica loves attention and desires a great deal of one-on-one time with her foster parent. Jessica receives special assistance in school to help keep her on grade level. Jessica does have a brother that she is close to. Although they will not be adopted together, it is hoped that they continue to have contact. Jessica needs a family that can celebrate her differences and unique personality. Her family will need to be patient and help her adapt to her new home. She will need a family that can invent ways to keep Jessica motivated to accomplish her short term and lifetime goals. Jessica will need a loving family that has a strong desire to be an advocate for a special young lady like her.
