She receives assistance to help her in controlling her behavior and emotions. Jessica is diagnosed with Non-Hunningtons Benign Familial Chorea. She struggles with muscle control and spasms. She requires assistance at school and receives occupational and physical therapy. Jessica's physical condition is considered medically complex. She also has difficulty with speech and is receiving speech therapy. Jessica has an older brother and they are very close. They have always lived together and the plan is for them to stay in touch although her brother is not a part of this adoption.

Jessica needs a compassionate, loving family who is able to offer a nurturing, secure home. The family will need to become familiar with her special medical condition and be able to care for her through some rough times. She has expressed the desire for a two parent family and is open to have new siblings.
