Jesus is a youth with a great personality who enjoys reading. He also enjoys video games and some outside sports. Jesus can get over stimulated at times and requires some redirection especially with getting along with his peers. He can do well in school when he is focused and directed appropriately. Jesus receives special assistance in school to help him with behavioral goals and academic progress. He works hard and tries to please teachers and other school staff. He is able to connect with school staff when they show a geniuine interest in his well-being. Jesus can become anxious when he is introduced to new situations or new rules. Jesus needs a family that is very patient and understanding. The family must be willing to become knowledgable about learning styles, behavior management and be an active partner with school personnel. Jesus would benefit from a family that is active and will assist Jesus with learning a sport and/or outdoor activity. This family should be dedicated to helping Jesus reach his long-term goals. He will do best in a nurturing, stable, environment. Jesus looks forward to the adoption process and having his own "family".
