Jesus is a 11-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.

Jesus is an outgoing, fun boy, who enjoys playing with toy cars. He engages well with a variety of activities and interacts well with other children. Foster parents report that Jesus is well behaved and very reactive to his environment and loves to smile and laugh. He is a loveable, affectionate child. Jesus enjoys playing outdoors, eating out, and go on drives. He likes watching Dora The Explorer and Barney on TV. Jesus was born premature which resulted in respiratory challenges. He requires frequent breathing treatments to maintain respiratory health. Jesus is fed through a "G" tube. He has Autism and has a slower rate of learning. Jesus communicates through a Dynavox and is very expressive in his language. He is a good student who enjoys learning new things and exploring new games and educational toys. Jesus attends school in an assigned self contained classroom. In the winter months, Jesus is assigned home bound teachers for his education. He is totally ambulatory and active in an adaptive physical education program. Jesus would make a wonderful addition to a family who is experienced in caring for children with special medical needs.

Jesus needs a loving and kind adoptive family. The family must be willing to work with therapist and doctors to ensure that he receives the most appropriate services available. Jesus needs a family who is willing to become knowledgeable regarding medical needs and is able to devote time to care for him and meet his needs. The family needs to be able to advocate for him so that all services for Jesus both medical and educational can be received.
