Joe is a 5-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.
Joe is loving and affectionate. He loves giving and receiving hugs. He is very outgoing and talkative. He likes to help his foster parents around the house. He enjoys being outdoors, playing hand-held games and playing with his brother Joseph. Foster parent also reports that Joe likes coloring, watching movies and riding his bike. His favorite cartoon character is Sponge Bob Square Pants. Joe can be very aggressive and at times can be rough with his brother, Joseph, therefore, they need constant supervision. Joe Michael behaviors may be unfriendly and difficult when angry or upset. His behavior can be argumentative however, he has made progress as he learns more acceptable ways to manage his emotions. Joe has involuntary hand movement that continues to interfere with his behavior at school. He has made progress as he learns to control his hand movements. Joe has endless amount of physical energy and at times Joe has difficulty staying focused.
John Michael is the oldest brother and keeps a protective watch over his younger siblings. Joe is the second youngest and most affectionate of the group. Joe is very close to his older brother John Michael. Joseph is the youngest and is very protective of Joe. They like to play outdoors together or just hang out. This is a fun and active group. The boys are very bonded and will do well in a family who is energetic, active and supportive of their educational careers. The family must be willing to deal with three young boys with short attention spans and be able to give lots of love and redirection. They are very excited about being adopted. When mentioned, they say the type of family they prefer is a family that celebrates holidays and birthdays.
