Johnathan is a 14-year-old boy from Alabama who is hoping to be adopted.

Johnathon was born in July 1995 and is currently in the 8th grade (2008-09 school year). He was recently chosen as "Reader of the Week" for the entire school. Johnathon attends public school and has good behavior and excellent grades. He joined Boy Scouts this year and loves earning badges and socializing with his peers.

Johnathon enjoys playing video games, riding bikes, watching movies, listening to country music and playing outdoors. One of his favorite things to do is to build things out of wood and nails. He once made a big tree fort for his brothers John and Jimie.

Despite an unfortunate past, he always seems to have a smile on his face. Johnathon is very worried about his future and often talks about finding the "perfect family." He responds well to structure and scheduling, and is learning how to better handle situations where there is a sudden change in plans.

Johnathon is participating in joint counseling with both his brothers and has responded well to these sessions. It is our hope that this will help them be placed together as a group one day.

He is very open and honest about his feelings and needs a loving family to adopt him as their own.
