Joseph is a happy, friendly African American little boy with a sweet grin. He has been in care for a long time and is looking for a family of his very own. He is very energetic and started out as an active, demanding infant and toddler. He struggles with some delays in his development. Joseph has felt some disappointment toward the adults in his life as some of his placements have not worked out for him. With a lot of one-on-one attention from his current foster family he has been able to make great improvements in his language and motor skills. Although Joseph’s behaviors can be problematic, he is also able to respond to consistent structure. His new family must understand the importance of being excellent advocates for their son. Joseph is a youngster who has had a rough past and needs a family that can unconditionally commit to him as the family he can count on forever.
