Joseph is an energetic young man who has curly brown hair and brown eyes. He has a good sense of humor and likes to make others laugh. He often requires some time to develop a deep trusting relationship with others but usually does not hesitate to socialize with peers or strangers. Joseph enjoys most outdoor activities and especially loves hunting, fishing and swimming. He also likes playing football and recently joined his school's track team. Joseph enjoys school and tries his best to succeed. He often struggles with focusing and completing tasks in a timely manner but has gotten much better with practice. Robert is an intelligent boy who is in gifted classes in school. He enjoys school and works very hard to achieve at his highest potential. His teachers describe him as being a good-natured and conscientious student. Robert loves most outdoor activities, especially swimming and playing baseball. He also enjoys playing video games and is an avid reader. Joseph and Robert were both born with cystic fibrosis. They require a strict medication and treatment regimen as well as regular hospitalization which helps to maintain their health at a functional level. Joseph has an excellent relationship with the various nurses, social workers and doctors on his medical care team. Robert does well managing his medications and handles his numerous hospital stays with a sense of humor that helps him to get through his medical procedures. Because of his diagnosis, Robert has talked about becoming a doctor or medical professional when he is older. Robert and Joseph share a close bond with each other. They are seeking the security and comfort of a loving forever family. All families will be considered for these two brothers. They are not yet legally free for adoption.
