Joshua is a 11-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.

Josh says he would love to have a pet of his own some day. He appears to excel in a structured environment. He does best when he is given time to adjust to changes and other people. Josh tends to want the attention that may be given to younger children, and at times has a hard time relating to his peers at school. Josh needs constant supervision so he will be safe and play well with other children Josh has a diagnosed mild problem with his feet, and he walks on his tiptoes with his feet turned out slightly. Physical therapy will need to be continued to address this. He has a mild speech delay and attends speech therapy on a weekly basis. Josh would do well in a family with older children or a family where he is the only child. He would like to have a mother and a father, but is accepting of living with a single parent. He needs supervision, structure, and security.
