Joshua is a 15 year old Caucasian male born and raised in Polk County, Florida. Joshua is the youngest child of three and still maintains contact with his two older brothers. His brothers are a very positive aspect of Joshua's life; and he desires to be able to be close in proximity to them to maintain their relationship. Joshua is described as being a great kid who is fun, chatty, very bright, musically talented, and very skilled with computers and video games. He is very book smart and does very well in school as long as he gets little reminders throughout the day to hand in his work and complete certain tasks. He is active in church and teaches himself music. He has a bright smile and is a generally very happy kid. He has plans for himself for the future and is working hard in therapy weekly. Joshua is currenlty diagnosed with Asperger's Disorder, Mood Disorder, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. He is doing well and he has expressed a desire to be adopted. He would prefer a family that is open to him visiting with his brothers, and who preferably lives in Polk County, Florida - so he can remain in close proximity to them. Overall, Joshua is a joy to be around and he has worked very hard to make great improvments in his life. He has dreams of accomplishing great things in his life for the future, and it is believed that if he is with the right supportive, loving, and stable parents that this will help him to achieve his future hopes and dreams.
