Joshua has worked hard to successfully overcome the emotional and behavioral issues resulting from educational and medical neglect in his past. He is respectful and polite and strives to follow rules and meet expectations. Family is very important to Joshua, and he takes his responsibilities as a big brother very seriously and is protective of and patient with his brother, Kamir. He is very athletic and has excellent gross motor skills. He struggles with a significant speech delay but is persistent and has made great progress over the past year. His speech is difficult to understand at times, but he is able to communicate his needs and responses reasonably well. Joshua and Kamir want to grow up together and will do their best in a loving, active home environment.
