He makes friends easily and is able to establish relationships with his peers. Joshua is able to follow the rules of the home. He is polite and will ask permission before doing something. Joshua loves to read. He has a healthy appetite but can also be a picky eater. He loves sweet peas but won't eat pizza. Joshua does well in school. He could be a candidate for the gifted/talented program in school with the right persuasion from his teachers. Joshua really desires a permanent family and works very hard to please the adults around him. Joshua has siblings who he is bonded with. Though placement with his siblings is not recommended at this time, continued contact with siblings is recommended. He loves his siblings and needs to know that they are doing well.

Joshua needs a stable and nurturing family to adopt him. The adoptive parents must have patience, knowledge and skills to help a child who has had a difficult early life. The family would need to be willing to allow Joshua to remain the youngest child in the family. They must be willing to allow Joshua to remain in contact with his siblings.
