He is very excited about being adopted. Although he is challenged by cerebral palsy, Joshua is independent in his activities of daily living and can go up and down stairs alone. He uses a wheelchair and a walker. He loves vanilla ice cream with hot fudge, and he cannot wait to get his driver’s license. He enjoys playing outside, drawing, and flying kites. He also has a passion for animals. Since coming into care, Joshua has made tremendous progress. He has become more independent and is very insightful about his past. He is in a self-contained classroom at school and has an Individual Education Plan to address his educational needs. Joshua will need guidance and nurturing to help him become more self-assured and to direct his behaviors in a positive manner. Joshua is full of promise and will not be held back by any limitations. This little guy will steal your heart and bring lots of joy to the family that can provide him with affection, praise, and the reassurance that they will be there for him as his forever family.
