Juan is a 9-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.

Juan perfers to be called "JC". He is a fun, outgoing,and happy boy. He is the typical little boy who likes to horse play and play video games. He is very social and academically smart and asks great questions. JC is also very caring and shows compassion. JC likes to watch movies, play football, basketball, go swimming, play board games and bake cookies. He is very competitive and strives to be the best at whatever he is doing. He likes to listen to music, likes animals and helps feed his dogs and donkeys at home. His favorite foods would by anything Mexican and some Italian like spaghetti. JC is very smart. He is a caring person and did very well with his new baby cousin when he was with his relatives in the past. JC just has a wonderful personality! Others have said the JC lights up a room he walks into it. He is cute and smart. His current foster mother states, "He is a great kid, full of love and compassion and (he) truly has a good conscious". JC states he would like an "Anglo or Hispanic family". He states he would like to have pets and siblings. JC's adoption worker believe he will do great with older siblings. He will need a family who will be able to and feel comfortable addressing appropriate boundaries. He will also do well with a very socially active family as he loves to be outdoors and is very active himself.
