Juana is a 17-year-old girl from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.
Juana is outgoing youth who enjoys recreational activities such as playing sports with others, shopping for clothing, and listening and rapping along to her favorite rap music. Juana takes great pride in her Latina culture and exhibits this in her clothing style and verbal expression as she speaks Spanish and relates to others in her Latina culture. Juana is skilled at socializing and bonding with others by wanting to make others laugh and share personal stories. She displays a passion for human justice, and has in the past stood up for other younger foster youth when faced with bullying. Juana believes everyone should be treated equally, loved, and accepted for whom they are. Juana's biggest strength is her compassion for those she loves and cares for the most in her life. She is need of a family who will accept, love, and understand her. Juana needs a family who will always support her and remind her that she will always be loved no matter what occurs in her life.
Juana is currently open to the idea of adoption and is working through supportive services, to ensure she will be open and have positive feelings about adoption. She wants to be part of a family who will love her unconditionally. Juana will greatly benefit from a family who will place her Latino heritage in high regard, as Juana integrates her personality, character, and ideals to her culture, that emphasize the importance of the family unit and its preservation. Juana enjoys the Rio Grande Valley and would love an adoptive family who reside and would care for her in the particular area of the state of Texas. Juana will benefit from a family who will provide support, guidance and love.
