Kambria is a 10-year-old girl from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.

Kambria is a talented youth who directed and acted in a school play that she wrote! She is fun and friendly but can be somewhat shy when you first meet her. When you get to know her, she is a good conversationalist and asks thoughtful questions. If she is upset, she becomes very quiet. Very artistic, Kambria likes to color and draw. She can also be found reading a book and cuddling her favorite stuffed animal. She also loves the Spurs! Kambria likes school and makes good grades, however, she needs extra help due to some of her behaviors. Overall, she has pretty good study habits but does get easily overwhelmed by large amounts of homework. She is very excited about being a cheerleader next year. Currently, Kambria struggles with expressing her emotions appropriately. She gets frustrated and expresses her feelings with tantrums and may become physical. She is making an effort to become more positive and express her emotions in a more constructive manner.

Kevin and Kambria are very active children. They both enjoy the outdoors and desire an active family that enjoys their love of outdoors as well. Kevin loves sports and is on the football team. Kambria can't wait to be a cheerleader! These children love to be together and get along great. The play well with each other, but also need their space. Kevin and Kambria need a family that can provide structure and stability and can encourage positive ways of redirection. Their forever family must be patient, ready to love and nurture them. Kambria needs a forever family who will provide structure and a lot of supervision while being nurturing and patient. She needs a family who is willing to help with therapeutic goals. She would benefit from a family who has a child her age to play with.
