Kathy is a 10-year-old girl from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.
Kathy is a very sweet, kind, and smart child. She is wise beyond her years and very mature for her age. Kathy is very loving and supportive of her siblings and being part of a family is important to her. She enjoys spending time with her older sister, especially when they are able to do things outside. Kathy loves to play soccer, swim, and go to the park. She also likes to color and she loves her stuffed animals. Kathy benefits from encouragement with her school work and is doing quite well overall. She is easy to talk with and very warm and open to other people.
Kathy and Esmeralda are sweet sisters who love each other very much and are very protective of one another. They are both very active girls. Although each child is engaged in their own interests, they love to spend time together doing things outside, such as swimming, playing volleyball and soccer, and exploring. Like many sibling sisters, Kathy and Esmeralda bicker with each other at times, but at the end of the day, they know how important they are to each other. Kathy and Esmeralda want to be adopted together with a family that will remain committed to them and support them into adulthood. They both have big dreams and want to go to college.
Kathy will do well with either a single mom or a two-parent family. She needs parents who will allow and encourage her love of athletics and staying active. She needs parents that will allow her to maintain contact with her other older siblings, who are very important to her. Kathy needs a family that values education and will encourage her in her studies.
