KATRIKA (12/92) is a very happy, free-spirited child who is very outgoing. She smiles a lot and enjoys laughter. She is very loving and affectionate. She is liked by peers and adults. She loves music and likes to sing. Her favorite music is gospel and rap. She is in the band and plays the trombone. She also enjoys swimming, and bike riding. Katrika is very up front with her feelings and when she is upset she can be hard -headed and stubborn. Normally she is very pleasant and “a joy to be around." Katrika does not have a preference regarding the race of an adoptive family. CORTEZ (8/91) can be very likable, polite, and charming. He has an infectious smile that lights up the room. He is playful and mischievous with his sister and his peers. Cortez is very protective of his sister. He is athletic and enjoys organized sports particularly football and basketball. However, his grades have prevented him from playing sports at school. He, like his sister, loves music and enjoys singing. He likes the outdoors, and riding his bike. He would prefer to have an African American adoptive family. These siblings need a family to call their own to provide them with a loving, stable home.
