Kaytlin is a 10-year-old girl from Tennessee who is hoping to be adopted.

Kaytlin is an adorable little girl who needs an abundance of love and attention. Kaytlin is visually impaired but can react to light. Doctors do believe that she can see some things but they are uncertain as to what she can actually see, due to her inability to communicate her needs. Kaytlin can make sounds and say words such as “paw paw”, “yeah”, “wawwa” (water) and “bye bye”. She is totally dependent upon her caretaker. Kaytlin can not sit without assistance. Kaytlin can move her arms and legs and sometimes she can work herself up so hard that she will move herself into a different position. Kaytlin cannot hold her head up, but if you tell her to hold her head up she will try to raise it up at times. She loves to be around other children. Her foster parents describe her as “a delightful and happy child to be around”. “Kaytlin has a big smile with deep dimples that light up the room” says her case manager. Kaytlin needs a family that can accept her physical and mental limitations. This family needs to be one that is willing to support her for the rest of her life, because she will be completely dependent on their care. She deserves a family that will love and respect her for all that she is. It is strongly recommended that Kaytlin be placed with a family who is committed to giving her all the love, medical and physical attention that she requires and deserves.
