He enjoys watching cartoons as well as playing and watching football, basketball, and baseball. Kendrick also likes to read, walk in the woods, and go to the beach. He says he’d like to be an engineer or construction worker when he grows up. Kendrick attends regular classes at school where he earns average grades. He can do much better when he applies himself. Kendrick is learning to take responsibility for his actions. He also needs to work on acceptable conduct in the classroom, although that does not seem to affect his schoolwork. Kendrick has a wonderful relationship with his foster family and he needs a forever family to give him the constant love, guidance, security, and permanence that all children need and deserve. He will benefit from a family that will encourage his academic success and provide opportunities for him to build his self-esteem.
