Kyle is a 11-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.

Look outside, and you're likely to find this charming youngster playing football or looking for a buddy to go fishing with! He is an avid rock collector and hopes to one day have a rock tumbler to polish his collection! Kyle is described as a natural born leader; assertive, hard-working, and always first to volunteer to help others. When he isn't playing outside, he can usually be found playing video games. At his best, Kyle is friendly and trustworthy. Kyle is a very bright and creative child. School can be a challenge for him as he can be easily distracted and disrepectful towards teachers or authority figures. Kyle does well in math, reading, and English, but will need help staying on task with homework. He will need a family that will be patient and able to work closely with his teachers to ensure his educational goals are being met. At times, Kyle can be uncooperative and demanding. He at times argues with adults and peers. He may test limits and will need consistent boundaries in a very structured home setting. Kyle does take responsiblility for his actions and will strive to make ammends when he is wrong. He often responds best to natural consequences and finds it helpful when adults are able to help him practice listening and communication skills. This young man is waiting for a forever family who will share his love of the outdoors while encouraging those traits that make him a natural born leader. Although he wants to be adopted, he will need time to develop trust and to work through issues he has yet to resolve from his past. Visit me at the TARE Gallery.

Kyle needs a family who is committed, patient, structured, and experienced. Kyle has two younger brothers who are placed separately from him. Kyle reports that he is happiest when he is around his siblings, so maintaining sibling bonds will be important to him. Kyle will respond best to a family who will allow him to express his feelings, but guide him to do so in ways that are more appropriate. Kyle needs a family willing to keep him involved in activities that promote his natural leadership ability, while helping to raise his self-esteem.
