Lacy is a 14-year-old girl from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.

Lacy is a cute girl with beautiful blue eyes that show off her red hair and freckles. She is quick to tell you that lime green and purple are her favorite colors and make her happy. She also likes blankets and is always wrapped up in one, along with her stuffed animals. Lacy is helpful around the house with chores. She likes to make jewelry pieces with beads. Lacy is very creative and writes elaborate stories and letters. She likes to use gel pens and lots of color in her writings. She has beautiful penmanship. Lacy also likes to make lists and will make a list to show her what lists she needs to make. Lacy receives services to help her both academically and behaviorally. English is her favorite subject. Lacy doesn't always ask permission to use things that do not belong to her. She states that she is just putting them in her room or backpack to keep them safe. Lacy requires constant close supervision. Lacy sometimes acts silly and younger than her age. She likes to be in charge of the people around her and in her environment. She is very energetic and likes playing outside. She rides a bike but often crashes, but always gets back up and tries again. Lacy can be moody and introverted at times. She needs to be closely supervised when she is moody to avoid any injuries. She was working on controlling her anger and being nicer to people but is having some difficulty. Lacy is also working on how to transition into a family setting. Visit me at the TARE Gallery.

Lacy will need a family who is structured and understands how traumatic life events can affect children. A family who can parent Lacy and her special needs while helping her to achieve and flourish will be best. She will need a very strong family with a desire to be an advocate for a child and understand her emotional fluctuations. Lacy has a sister that has been placed separately into adoption and contact is desired.
