For Larry, nothing could be better than sharing his hopes and dreams with his very own family. He is a very happy, energetic Caucasian youngster longing to find his way into just the right family for him. Larry does well with lots of one-on-one attention. While being the only child in the home will benefit him, he will also do well in a home with other children. Larry is the oldest child in a sibling group of five, and he continues to have a strong attachment to his birth mother; he feels that he needs to care for her and make sure that she is okay. He struggles with anger issues and the neglect in his past as well as his concern for his birth family. Even though Larry cannot be placed with his birth siblings, he hopes that he can continue to have contact with them through phone conversations, drawing pictures to one another and possibly seeing each other on occasion. Larry is able to respond to consistent nurturing and structure, even though his behaviors can be problematic. His new family must understand the importance of being strong role models and good advocates for Larry, and most of all, showing this little boy that he can be loved totally and completely by a family.
