This duo will enchant you! Latour and Dominique are an African American brother and sister team, and they want to grow up together in a permanent family. They both sport beautiful smiles and likeable personalities. Latour is very affectionate and friendly. He loves to play video games. Dominique is an insightful and engaging young lady who loves to read and draw. These siblings will need a lot of consistency, structure and supervision to help them address some behavioral issues. Both participate in individual therapy to work on their behavior in areas including poor impulse control, disregard for authority and poor social boundaries. Although both children have experienced tough challenges and instability in their past, they have shown resiliency. After being in the same foster home for two years, they had to be separated. They, however, want to be together again in the same home. They have often taken on the caretaker role for each other and have a close relationship. A two parent home environment is recommended for Latour and Dominique, and as they will need a lot of one-on-one attention, they will benefit from being the only children in the home. Their parents will need to have a strong commitment to providing a nurturing environment with firm, but loving boundaries, an understanding of and willingness to support their continued therapy and the unconditional acceptance they require.
