Leonel is a child with Downs Syndrome and has developmental delays. He receives special academic services and life skills classes. Leonel can be unpredictable and struggles with being impulsive. He has been disruptive in class, and has been known to wander away at times. Leonel requires supervision and structure. His parents will redirect him consistently to help him accomplish tasks. Leonel's adoptive family will need to be a special family who will give him unconditional love and be committed to caring for him through adulthood.
