Lilmarcus is a very quiet, serious, and appears withdrawn upon first meeting. He does not initiate conversation however, he will participate in a conversation andprovide provide minimal responses. Once Lilmarcus feels comfortable, however, and gets to know you, his personality will become a lot warmer! Lilmarcus is not a home bound person. He prefers to be out in the fresh air going places and experiencing new things. He enjoys spending time at places such as camps, water parks, and game rooms. These recreational activities allow Lilmarcus to build his social skills and create bonds with others. When Lilmarcus is at home, he can be found in his room playing video games, watching sitcoms on T.V., or sleeping. Lilmarcus also enjoys spending quality time with his sister every month. Lilmarcus is very responsible at home. He will help with chores such as sweeping and moping the floor, washing clothes, washing dishes, and organizing his things. He is very neat and he takes pride in his appearance. He also believes in the importance of maintaining good hygiene. Although Lilmarcus gets along well with others, he does not make friends easily. He does not put in the time necessary to build a friendship, because he does not see the value in it. At school, Lilmarcus favorite subject is English. Recently, Lilmarcus has become more self-aware. He has shown tremendous growth in the area of making choices. Lilmarcus is learning to make better decisions, by thinking about the possible consequences of his actions. Lilmarcus requires a nurturing environment that is highly structured, and consistent in disciplinary strategies and supervision. The family who can best meet Lilmarcus' needs needs to be geniune, and able to provide a safe, stable, and loving home. The family needs to be dedicated and provide Lilmarcus with emotional, physical, medical, and educational support. The family needs to be open to allow Lilmarcus contact (pictures, letter, ect.) with his sibling once it is appropriate.
