Lizbeth is a 15-year-old girl from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.

Lizbeth is an articulate, smart, strong willed girl. She can be loud and at the same time be caring and affectionate. Lizbeth knows what she wants and once she set her goal will go after it. She is close to her siblings and can develop relationships with those who care for her. Lizbeth's foster parents report that her behavior can be challenging at time but still she remains respectful her elders and follow directions. She gets along well with everyone and can be friendly and gentle toward younger children. Lizbeth favorite thing to do is read and write poetry. She is presently not an outside person and prefers to listen to music, her favorite being Tejano music, and watch television. In school, Lizbeth excels in her English class with her writing skills. Her poetry has been recognized by her teachers as the best they have seen in recent years. Lizbeth is an A-B student who enjoys the challenges of school and the friendships she has made with fellow students and her teachers. Lizbeth's mood changes significantly at times and she needs support and guidance to see others point of view when dealing with her peers. She needs guidance and redirection.

Juan, Lizbeth and Juan Emmanuel enjoy talking together or going out to eat. Juan De Dios enjoys both indoor and outdoor activities and is sports oriented with interests in football and basketball. Lizbeth's favorite things to do are read and write poetry, listen to music, and watch television. Juan Emmanuel also likes to listen to music and play video games. All three are family oriented and desire to be adopted and become a family unit. They would benefit from a family who has adolescent childrearing experience, who can guide them academically, focus on teenage issues, and their career choices. These siblings desire a family who can provide them with lots of love, encouragement, and fulfillment of their individual hopes and dreams.

Lizbeth wants to be adopted with all her siblings. The family will need to have experience raising or living with adolescents. They need to have prior parenting experience to handle the challenges of a sibling group of three. They would benefit from a family that has strong family values and will help them overcome their differences. A family with one or two other children in the home would be acceptable. The Family will need to promote Lizbeth's ongoing communication with her sibling.
