Logan is an 8-year-old boy from Vermont who is hoping to be adopted.

Logan is 7 years old. Here's what we’d like you to know about him. Some of his favorite things: Spider Man, skateboarding, Yu-Gi-Oh cards, matchbox cars, monster trucks, one-on-one time with a favorite adult Some of his least favorite things: Sitting still, quiet activities he enjoys: Lego’s, video games, riding bikes, puzzles, arts & crafts What we would like in a family for Logan: Logan would do best with two active parents who enjoy outdoor activities. He really wants a dad who can do “things” with him, like taking him fishing and teaching him about things. Being the only child would be Logan’s best option as he requires a lot of attention. However, he would benefit from having an older male sibling to act as a role model. His family must must be willing to participate in attachment therapy with him; allow him to bond with them at his own pace; work with Logan’s current therapist and team to help him transition into their home; and let him have fun, play, and just be a kid. His new family should also be willing to consider ongoing contact with Logan’s birth family. What we would like families to know about Logan: Logan has excellent manners, is very friendly, and is motivated to please those around him. He presents with attachment issues, which means that he has poor boundaries and will superficially attach to any individual that shows him attention. Logan can be very impulsive, often acting before thinking through the possible consequences; however, he can be easily redirected if those around him notice and intervene before he has a “meltdown”. He needs firm structure, consistency, and a lot of attention, especially one-on-one attention from adults he cares about. Logan needs a family that will remain emotionally non-reactive and can disengage when he is acting out.
