Lorenzo is a 15-year-old boy from Colorado who is hoping to be adopted.

Neither rain, nor snow, nor sleet will keep this terrific teen from being outside! Lorenzo loves to feel the sun on his face and the wind on his back. He enjoys playing basketball in the drive way or at the local recreation center as well as riding his bicycle around the neighborhood. The great thing about both of these activities is that each can be done with friends or by oneself. Lorenzo feels comfortable with either situation. Regardless, the most desired activity for Lorenzo is spending time with a forever family. In the 8th grade, he is looking forward to being in his last year of junior high school. He is very intelligent, but may need a reminder or two from his future family about his homework. Lorenzo thinks there are just so many other fun things to do besides completing worksheets! Lorenzo enjoys being with his friends. He has great positive peer relationships, which help support him when creating new and lasting adult relationships. He is anxious to form a lasting bond with an adult who will provide a permanent home for him. All families who can provide a structured environment where Lorenzo can excel are encouraged to inquire. Lorenzo and his caseworker would prefer a family with few children already in the house.
