Luis has difficulty with taking objects without first asking permission. Luis responses well to close supervision that enables him to keep his actions and behaviors in check. Foster parents describe Luis as having good relationships with other children who visit the home and live in the neighborhood. They state that Luis and his brother Manuel get along well as brothers and spend a lot of time together with indoor games and taking turns with household chores. The boys are a family unit and cannot see themselves being separated from each other. Luis is fond of his foster parents who report that for the most part Luis has been respectful and courteous toward them. Luis likes to watch action movies, listen to all types of music, and play video games. Luis does good in school. He likes to test the school rules and challenge the authority of his teachers. Sometimes, Luis will not focus on his schoolwork and as a result has to be assigned a class where he can get close one on one supervision, encouragement, and recognition.

These two will be a great addition to a family with one or two older children. Luis is a friendly, soft spoken boy who gets along with everyone. Luis cannot see himself placed in adoption without his brother Manuel. He and Manuel are inseparable playing outdoors, following sports on TV, and playing video games. Manuel is also quiet and slow to warm up before he connects with you. He is close to his brother Luis. This sibling group of two will benefit from a family who has adolescent parenting experience, who likes outdoor activities, different types of sports, and can be involved with Manuel and Luis's individual interests. These siblings desire a family who can provide them with a father figure who can take the time to praise and encourage them, and help them fulfill their individual goals and dreams.
