He enjoys sports, including, soccer, basketball, swimming, and especially football. He makes good grades and is determined to earn a football scholarship to college. Both boys are very close to each other and they want to remain together with an adoptive family who they describe as one in which the parents are ‘patient and calm’. The family would need to be one who could help prepare these young men for independence while giving them a sense of family and belonging. The family would also need to help the boys maintain a sense of their culture and heritage as well as supporting contact with their birth mother who is in another country.
